Newsletter - October 2026

October is here and we have a lot of exciting news and events that will be taking place at The Steel Academy.

On October 7th, the community led newsroom Signal Akron will teach our students more about civics, voting and where they stand in the process. As our students get ready to vote, this will be an interesting and important presentation for them.

On October 14th, we will have a speaker from Kent State University coming to talk to students about the college application process, admission requirements and campus life.

Please take a look at our October newsletter to read more news and learn about some upcoming events like our Spirit Week, Homecoming, Community Harvest Party and more.
