The Steel Academy Steel Drum Band held their Band Camp in July and are ready for PorchRokr on August 15th! They are excited and ready to play in front the large crowd that PorchRokr brings. Traditionally, PorchRokr takes place outside in the heat. Luckily the Steel Drum Band was assigned to play inside the air conditioned House Three Thirty. So come beat the heat with us and listen to some cool calypso and classic rock performed by our talented students.

Steel Academy will be hosting our annual Open House and Title 1 night on August 19th from 5pm-7pm. Students who are already enrolled can come greet their teachers and meet new staff members. We will have games, snacks, and giveaways.
